BY RAIL
HELENSBURGH has two train stations. Central which takes ¾ of an hour from Glasgow
Queens Street Station and
runs every thirty minutes. The Upper line gives access to the
panoramic scenery of the West Highland Line with daily return journeys
to Oban, Fort William and Mallaig.
BY AIR
Glasgow Airport is served by flights from many UK and international
destinations. Car Hire is available at the airport. Glasgow
Airport is thirty
minutes travelling time from Helensburgh. When you leave the
airport, take the M8 towards Erskine Bridge/Greenock, cross the
Erskine Bridge (first turnoff) - there is a 60p toll!. Take
the A82 towards Crianlarich - at the traffic lights, take the A814
through Dumbarton to Helensburgh. When you enter Helensburgh,
watch for the Esso petrol station on your left. Hanover Street
is the first street on your right. BEFORE the Esso Station.
Eastbank is on your right - take the outside steps and voila!

Prestwick Airport: -
From the airport take the A78 to Irvine – then
take the A737 to Kilwinning, Dalry, Beith join the M8 for Erskine
Bridge, Greenock.
Cross the Erskine
Bridge, there is a toll of 60p. Take the A82 to Crianlarich. At
the traffic lights take the A814 to Helensburgh. When you enter
Helensburgh watch for the Esso Petrol Station on your left. Hanover
Street is the 1st street on your right BEFORE the Esso
Station. Eastbank is on your right. Take the outside stairway
and you have found us.
